How was your holiday?

Get more space, time and privacy

Summer holidays are the safe refuge in the stormy seas of busy careers and hectic home lives. Pressure at work is perhaps more acute than ever, and the chance to take a week or two away from the grindstone is the promise that sustains many workers.

That’s a lot of expectation loaded onto one short holiday. You’ve got to get it right, because it’s a long time until the next opportunity to relax and recharge.

So how was your holiday this summer?

We all unwind differently. There are those who seek adrenaline rushes.  Others search out pure hedonism and just want to dance ‘til dawn. But overwhelmingly we seek out three things: space, time, privacy.

Space: crowded commutes, busy town centres, buzzing offices, and always-on technology define many working weeks. It can be energising and hugely productive, but we do need to step away and enjoy the freedoms to relax and roam from time to time.

Time: Between sleeping, eating and working, our free time is often limited. And that smartphone in your pocket means work emails and calls are never far away even when you’re out of the office. The sacrifice is time. Quality time with family, with friends, and just with ourselves.

Privacy: We share our spaces with lots of people every day, and Zoom calls are even invading our most personal space – our home. We all need a space that is private where we can just be ourselves, and not the office version of us. Ditch the dress-code, lose the metaphorical armour that we use to keep the world at bay, and just be you.

For those familiar with business travel, services like a concierge desk, housekeeping and laundry can all be convenient, even essential.

At Casa de Olivos we know what you’re going through at work, but more importantly, we understand what you need from your holiday. We get that it’s got to be right, because you need this holiday, to disconnect, unwind, and spend valuable time with loved ones.

We’ve created Casa de Olivos for people like you. Slow down and unwind. It’s like having your own private villa, but we’re here to help out in a concierge-housekeeping role if you need us. You won’t be arriving to a key safe that won’t open – we’ll be here to greet you on arrival and make sure you have everything you need. We take care of the little things so you don’t have to, like getting the pool ready each morning. We can give you a nudge in the right direction for the best beaches, restaurants, sights and attractions. And if you feel like some pampering, we can serve breakfast to your apartment, rustle up a paella for dinner, or bring you a jug of Sangria while you watch the sun set. And when you don’t need us, you won’t see us.

Here you’ve got the space and privacy you need to relax and unwind. We have capacity for upto 6 guests using two boutique apartments. Even if there are just two of you staying, you can book exclusively to have the guest areas to yourselves. If you’re not beach-body ready, don’t worry. No one’s gonna see.

So, if you’ve tried the all-inclusive hotel buffet and didn’t need the crowds, or tried the villa but didn’t like the neighbours, you definitely need to try Casa de Olivos.

Casa de Olivos – sustainable rural accommodation without compromise. Leave your footprints by the pool, not on the planet.
