Wellness at Casa de Olivos
Slow, Sustainable Wellbeing in the Castellón Countryside
Wellness at Casa de Olivos is not a programme or a schedule — it’s evocated simply by being here. Set among organic olive groves in rural Castellón, our off-grid, carbon-negative retreat offers space, silence and simplicity — the foundations for genuine rest and restoration.
Life here unfolds gently. Mornings begin with birdsong and wide skies, days are shaped by nature and movement, and lazy evenings are followed by star-filled nights. Many guests tell us they didn’t realise how much they needed this pace until they arrived — and how difficult it is to leave.
Simply staying at Casa de Olivos is itself a wellness experience.
A Naturally Restorative Setting
Casa de Olivos sits within a working agricultural landscape, surrounded by olive trees, open countryside and distant mountain views. There are no crowds, no through-traffic, and no visual noise — just space to breathe and time to notice how your body and mind respond.
This environment naturally supports:
- Deeper sleep and calmer mornings
- Reduced mental stimulation and stress
- Time outdoors, year-round
- A slower, more intuitive rhythm of living
Wellness here is rooted in place, not performance.

Living With Nature
Casa de Olivos is surrounded by organic olive groves, with quiet paths and seating areas woven into the landscape. Guests are welcome to wander, pause beneath the trees, or simply enjoy the scents and sounds of the countryside.
For those interested, we’re always happy to walk guests around the property to explain:
- Our off-grid energy systems
- Water management and low-impact living
- Organic olive grove care
- Ongoing traditional dry-stone wall restoration projects
Sustainability here is practical, considered and quietly integrated — most guests hardly notice it, yet often leave inspired by what they’ve experienced.
Gentle Movement & Fresh Air
Wellbeing at Casa de Olivos often includes movement that feels good, rather than structured exercise.
Many guests enjoy:
- Walking directly from the property through olive groves and countryside
- Exploring nearby hills and rural lanes
- Swimming, cycling or visiting nearby natural parks and beaches
Movement here is optional, intuitive and always balanced by rest.

Gratitude, Presence & Digital Calm
We've included a gratitude book in each apartment, giving guests opportunity to pause and reflect. Noticing and writing down those things that we are grateful for helps to keep us grounded and in the moment. Often the simplest of things, like a view, a conversation, or a hug, regularly acknowledging them helps boost positivity and wellbeing.
We also gently encourage guests to step back from constant digital noise and distraction. Time away from screens, combined with fresh air and quiet, brings clarity and a renewed sense of presence.
